Cool Bring back the Model 19!!

Bring back the Model 19! Bill Jordan was a giant of a man and a giant of the shooting world. The man survived over 300 gunfights! He knew what made a good fighting gun. The mid-sized frame maggie was well balanced, light enough to tote all day and packed one hell of a thump!! Any man carrying one was well armed!!

Not everyone uses just auto pistols!!! I stupidly traded away my 2 1/2" Model 19 a number of years ago. Still kicking myself for that one!! Would sure like to buy another one!!

Unfortunately they stopped making K-Frame .357 Magnums a few years back. They concentrated on the L-Frames, then brought back the N-Frame M27 in the Classic line. The .357 Magnum was apparently too much for the K-Frame. 'Course you can still buy it in a J-Frame.
I don't understand everything I know.

...probably because j frame 357 magnums get carried alot...and shot very little. No one has the stamina to fire one enough to wear it out or damage it...

The model 19 is my very favorite revolver. That said, I sincerly hope they don't "bring back the model 19" as part of the so called "classics".

They would just screw it up with "innovations" and the knock off would pale in comparison to a real model 19. See the "classic" model 15 as an example of what I'm referring to.

Sadly, I don't see the current company calling itself S&W being capable of making a revolver with everything you need and nothing you don't. I hope they leave well enough alone, in this case. Regards 18DAI
