Default 940 Centennial

I would LOVE to see them bring back the model 940 in a Pro Series with Tijicon night sights, no lock, and port it. Thinking of having my 640 Pro Series magnaported, any thoughts/opinions on having that done?

The only drama I have with the pro-series is the longer barrel. The barrel that was on the 940 (not the 3" version) is plenty for me.

No porting. Nope. Not gonna do it. Even though +P+ 9mm ammo is fairly brutal to shoot.

Thought it over, no porting. 2.1" barrel exactly like my 640 pro. Basically a 940 pro. Perfect pocket/ankle/aiwb gun. No lock, stainless, moon clips, night sights. I think it would be a huge seller, but who am I.

I think they should reintroduce the 940 just as it was. There wasn't anything wrong with it. (Other than perhaps the grips).

Oh, you mean like this one? Agreed, maybe they should do both. Pro Series and a 940-1 (no lock).

I think just bringing the 940 back would be awesome and good business. No porting needed. Many sales would ensue. i would buy one.
