Default A 1911 pistol in 22, S, L, & LR???

How about a full size 1911 clone pistol in 22 caliber that can shoot the shorts, longs and long rifle bullets and maybe a kit gun with another slide and mag that can shoot the 22 WMR too? Of course it would need different recoil spings for the difference in power between rimfire rounds.

Yup a 1911 full size 22 caliber kit gun.

I read bad things about most of the 1911's in 22lr. I'm gun shy about buying one. But if s&w made it I'd jump on it.

OK, but try the 7/8 scale browning just for fun first. Highly recommend it.

Of all of them out there, my favorite out of the box has been the Sig Sauer.

.22LR only, though. Same for the diminutive Browning (which is way too small and feels like a toy to me). Oh, and the Browning is expensive.

The $200 you would save on the Sig would buy a lot of ammo.
Well, if you could buy ammo, that is.
