I need a riser for my optics setup to get it to clear my folded MBUS setup. What's the smallest lift you can get for a riser? I really don't want to make it taller, but to get a full picture through the scope, I have to put the stock a couple clicks in and I like to shoot with it all the way out. I think 1/4" would probably be perfect so that it clears my rear sight.

Although looking at the rail, 1/2" is probably the smallest out there just because of how they're setup.

thanks!

This setup doesn't have rings, it's on a quick release setup. This is it here

I'll probably just come up with a quarter inch composite spacer between the mount and the scope to fix this up.

If you do come up with a quick fix for that I think other folks will want it too. A lot of owners of NcStar scopes with that particular integrated mount setup gripe about the low height on AR platforms.

It shouldn't be too much trouble really. The base and the scope are seperate pieces (I think), so with extended hardware to go through composite piece sandwiched in between the base and scope, it should be a slam dunk mod........should be.

I just need to find time and materials. Most people would probably be fine with a standard half inch riser, but I want my optics as low as possible to try and keep things more accurate.
