I mess around a lot with mags, as many of you know.
I bought some 9-round stainless 3906/909 mags a while back. Initially I used 3913 floorplates to make them fit the 39-2 nicely.
Then I was looking at my brother's Kahr P-9, and he mentioned he bought some extenders for plus one in the k-series Kahr mags.
So I "borrowed" one.
Results:
When installed on an otherwise unmodified 3900 magazine, The mag holds 10.
So....
These are the things:
Lakeline llc makes them. I had to file off a small portion of the back (shown in the pics) to make it fit. If I didnt gave a lanyard loop on my pistol, this would have been unnecessary.

All told, it looks good and I will report more after a range test, but its good.
With the slide locked to the rear, the magazine doesn't over-insert and strike the ejector, so thats good. Also my rudimentary bench test tells me it feeds fine and locks the slide back on empty.
More to follow.

Not enough room. I tried that first. The 3906 and 3913 magazines share the same follower and spring, and its mighty tight in there already. With 8 rounds in the 3913 mag, it is very nearly at coil bind.
The 3906 mag body has enough room in it. Its tight, but not the end of the world.

Kahr 9 magazine extensions

I know this is an old thread, but it looks like they changed the way their extensions look? Perhaps I'm not seeing it correctly but it looks like the new Kahr extensions by Lakeline LLC are fatter and have different designs… Any idea?

I havent checked them out in a while.
I have now fired hundreds of rounds from my modified 10-round magazine without failure.
