While both double action triggers perform flawlessly, the length of pull on the 1026 with frame mounted decocker seems shorter, but heavier than that of the 1006. Is it just me or is this possible? Just wondering. Both great shooters!

Thanks,
Don

Don,

Your 1026's double action starts with its hammer held back in a notch that is somewhat like a half cock notch, not all the way foward like your 1006, so its shorter DA pull is part of its design. The two models do not have different pull weights but individual guns vary and someone may have changed the springs or given the 1006 an action job. You can easily put lighter Woff springs in your 1026.

Best Regards,
Gil

Good

Gil,
Thank you for the explanation. Though my mind was tricking me! Pull weight OK, not that much difference.
