I dug out my 610 with the 10mm Magnum cylinder and was looking through my old load data when I realized I have a lot of newer powders but no idea if any of them will work in the 10 Mag, anybody have load data using newer powders? The 180 XTP worked best with Blue Dot but I'm out of that, I have Taffins data but I was looking to try something different with a 200 XTP. Thanks

800x

I like using 800x in 10mm.
You have to weigh each charge as it doesn't meter well.
Google load data for it.

The Hornady Reloading Manual 8th edition
Has the following powders for 10mm Automatic :
(I can find no data on 10mm Magnum )
Hornady 180 grain XTP bullet -

Unique
VIHT N-340
WW 231
Herco
Longshot
Power Pistol
800-X
SR 4756
VIHT 3N37
Win Action Pistol
Blue Dot
A No. 5
A No. 7
A No. 9

A = Accurate
HS-6 and HS-7 are shown in data for the 200 grain bullet but are absent in the 180 gr. bullet data for some reason .

Hope this info helps you out .

What "new powders" do you have that you're looking to use?

Basically any powder that worked good in the 10AUTO is good in the 10MAG.

IMO powders too slow aren't that great in this cartridge mainly because you're limited to a taper crimp.

I mainly use 165gr & some 180gr jacketed bullets but never have used any 200gr.

If the powers that are good for the 10mm Auto are good for the 10mm Mag then you will be able to use AA#7, AA#9, Longshot or W572.
