I heard that somebody took photos of the muzzle blast and the edge of the gas jet was about 79° from the axis of the barrel. So what. I fail to see what that has to do with anything. Besides most bench rest rifles use a 0°(flat) crown. 11° sounds hi-tech and precise to the average novice, allowing gunsmiths to sound smarter and improves their profit margin a bit, I suspect.
