HS-6 will work in the 800fps area in my pistols
w231 will match this fps and in my pistols (3-5")
and get just a little bit more accuracy.
You will need to pay attention to the tip design of this heavy bullet
for your longest OAL and the short OAL,for proper feeding & safe pressures.
I don't seat the 147 deeper than .30", in the tapered 9mm case and my
longest OAL with the Plated Berry RN, was 1.165".
With "Coated bullets" you will need to watch the overall Dia. of your case
to make sure it will fall all the way into your chamber and "Plunk",
with the difference in wall thickness in all the different makers brands, out there.
A FN design can have a shorter OAL but it will still need to be long enough to feed well
and not too short to get into high pressures.
