Hey Guys whats the real difference between the 15-22 - A1 Style Comp & The 15-22 MOE ? Is it worth the extra cash to get the MOE ? and are the moe sights any good or do yall use a scope more at the gun range and what about the stock and grip ? or is it better to get a A1 and put gear on it you really like ?

I went with a A1 15-22 and added some MOE accessories.
I like the pic rail better then the MOE (Magpul Original Equipment) version

Cosmetic only, with the exception that the MOE version has a quick release sling swivel right above the pistol grip on the lower receiver. The standard version does not have this.

The MOE sights are entirely functional and good for their intended purpose as backup sights.

I personally use a scope and never use the sights. I got a set of Magpul PTS sights originally intended/designed for Airsoft use for $26 and for the most part are identical to the MBUS sights that come with the MOE version. For the amount I use the sights (i.e. never), I could not justify spending over $100 for a set of the MBUS sights.

Your other questions are a matter of opinion and really only something you can decide.

I got the standard A1 style model and put my desired accessories on it. I didn't like the fit or appearance of the Magpul pistol grip on the MOE version so I put a Magpul MAID grip on it instead.

I don't care for the appearance of the Magpul stock and actually like the look of the standard M-4 stock better. I installed a CAA cheek riser on it.

However, It's cheaper to buy the MOE version than to get the A1 version and then buy MOE stuff to put on it.

To answer your first question, the difference is that the MOE version comes with several Magpul parts specifically the stock, the pistol grip and the sights. To answer your third question, the sights are very nice AR style peep/post sights and neatly fold away for use with a scope or red dot. To answer your other questions, well that's really for you to determine.

I will say that I loved the Magpul pistol grip. I think it's much better than the standard grip and as good as many other aftermarket grips I have felt on other AR's. Pistol grips are really a personal preference. I also really liked the Magpul stock because it had zero wobble. The sights were a nice little extra also. So for me, the MOE edition was worth every extra dollar since it basically gave me everything I would have wanted to upgrade. I added the Magpul AFG (angled fore grip) and a Sight Mark open style red dot site. I also picked up a short 10 round mag for bench shooting with the bipod. I like the red dot and bipod combination for my younger kids.
