New here to the forum. I came into a Smith & Wesson 15-3 that was re-blued, tuned and zeroed by the factory in 2009 for the original owner. I know that the revolver is considered once of the best .38 specials ever. I am wondering if anyone can tell me the year mine was manufactured because I have had no luck in finding a library that has "The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson." My serial is 3K25###. It was relayed to me that the original owner carried the gun his entire law enforcement carrier, and he retired in 98 after 35 years.
