In New Jersey we are limited to 15 round mags. We have a local guy making 15's for the AR platform.

Is there anyone making them for the 15-22?

I have been making my own, but have my concerns since I am not a "gun smith".

I am not aware of any, but then again, I'm not in the market for them so I haven't really been looking.

I saw 10 round mag plugs that could be cut down to allow for 15 rds. it is a plug that is placed under the spring to stop more than 10 rounds from going in the mag.

That is the first time i have seen those, never came up in a search.

Might have to buy one to see exactly what they did.

That would not work in Jersey because all you need to do is change the follower.

The 10 round mags we get here are mostly 25 round with a different color follower and that follower is blocked with a captured pin. Obviously the pin is installed before the mag is assembled.

I have modified mine by re-positioning the pin then epoxying it in place. Not much different then what S&W has done with the Jersey compliant M4 stocks.

Not including the epoxy, it takes all of 5 minutes. And should I move to a non limit state I could reverse it and have a full 25 round mag.
