I have a model 17-3 with standard hammer and trigger that I would like to change to target style hammer & trigger. Can this be done if I can find the parts?

I will repeat what SW said to me: hammers and triggers have to be fitted as sets to each other and to the frame. That said, your chances of a hammer/trigger set from a similar model dropping into yours is decent. Chances of mixing hammers and triggers not so much.
