19-3 price check

I came upon a Model 19-3 nickel finish, round butt in around 95% or better condition.
4 inch barrel. Non-original grips.
What would would be the approx value of this?

4" round butt M19, hmm. I don't remember seeing that combination.
I'd say $425 to $500 around here unless that's some odd version. MHO.

+1 on everything bamabiker said! I looked at a 3" w/ after market grips in August at the Dallas Show. They had it marked $450. If the 4" isn't a special model, it should fall in bama's price range!

I can tell you I paid $400 roughly 4 months ago.
No box or papers. Great gun. you'll love yours. Good luck.

also...Are you sure it's not a square butt on the 4"?? I think the round butt was on the short barrel only.

19-3 should not have the round butt on a 4" - that didn't come until much later I believe.

My bad. Shined the surefire flashlight on it and see that 3 is actually a 5.
So its a -5 but it does have a round butt.
So made in 1982 and I will be moving my question to the other forum.
