Took my 1911 Pro Series 9mm to the range yesterday and found that the rear sight adjustment screw will only turn three clicks in either direction and then binds up tight. Sent a note to S&W and they are giving me a return label to send it to them. Anybody else run into this?

They will make it right. Best of luck and be sure to let us know how it goes.

A LEO friend of mine had a problem with his M&P rear sights. Everytime he drewhis weapon the rear sight would drift just a bit from the holster. S&W made it right of course. This is the only rear sight issue I have heard of...

I find that if I push down on the rear sight it is a LOT easier to adjust than when trying to overcome the tension of the pin.

Push down on the sight, turn the adj screw to proper position, then push the sight back up into lock up.

Thanks for all the reply's. Well, I am almost too embarrassed to tell you folks this, but, it was me and not the gun. I was trying to turn the adjustment screw with a very small screwdriver and after using one with a little more grip, I got it to turn. Just took a few clicks and it is dead on. Love it!!
