1927 Regulation Police & 1947 M&P 2 Inch Nickle - I got a twofer today

Lucked into a twofer today. Was picking up the 2 inch M&P and stumbled into the Regulation Police on the way. Ended up with both. Neither one had seen any interest so the prices were IMHO reasonable. Need to dig around and find a side plate screw for the RP. Was surprised the RP had such nice stocks on it. The barrel shows some holster wear so I expected the stocks to be beaten up. The stocks do number to the gun (21,000 range). I hope the folks in my area keep their interest up in the new plastic **** and that they keep trading in their old Smith's.

What is the serial number on your M&P? It has the pre-war hammer. I would guess it starts with a S.

Great find. Can't seem to have too many revolvers....
