1950s S&W Baby Chief 2 " w/half moon Sight $1,500 or BO

This gun has been in my family since 1960. My father, an NYPD Detective, purchased it second hand from a retiring Lt. Serial number is 508. Half Moon sight & flat cylinder release. Bluing is good with some wear near the end of the barrel and frame edges from holster rubbing. All in all a great collectors piece. I also have the cancelled check dated April 18, 1960. No Box has survived the years. Asking $1,500 or BO
