On a whim I popped in a classic DVD tonight: The Siege , starring Denzel Washington. As a kid I remember watching it and thinking " holy ****, thank God that can't happen here."

Today I'm a vet watching it again, and its not as shocking to me. In point of fact the idea of the US Army marching through NYC by unconstitutional order of the POTUS seems like a CNN headline, not a plot for a Hollywood drama. The military run concentration camps as seen in the movie aren't as implausible as they should be, and the hearing of Senators debating how to violate the Constitution and Posse Comitatus because of public opinion polls supporting illegal Army intervention have me the willies.I had flashbacks to todays Senate CSPAN broadcast of gun control subcommittee hearings!

That scares me in a way only guys like you on this forum can understand.Am I just reading too much into this, or has our nation really changed that much since 1998, when the thought of unconstitutional orders and executive abuse of power was drama movie fodder?Im only 25 years old, so maybe I haven't been around long enough to know one way or the other.

Learn all you can about Agenda 21. I believe it maybe the new master of Tyranny, and the U.N. will push it as the only way to ensure the survival of our species.
