The 1917 is late 1918 manufacture and has flaming bomb and eagle head over S2 inspectors stamps. Is proof marked (crown over circled V) as pre lend/lease as per Pate's book. Factory rebuild 11/54 at which time the barrel, cylinder, ejector star were replaced and the S&W logo was added to the side plate. S/N's on frame, barrel cylinder and yoke match. The diamond Magna stocks are from the mid 50's. $1,250 shipped to lower 48.
The K22 Outdoorsman has some blue wear but overall a nice revolver. All numbers match. The inside of both stocks are signed by a previous owner. Seeing as the revolver was shipped in the mid 30's and Mr. Wolfe died in 1938 he is likely the original owner. $1,000 shipped to lower 48.
