I know the current soccer world cup is still going in Qatar, but a few days ago I learned that in 2026 we'll be hosting it, together with Canada and Mexico.

How cool is that?!

This is THE chance to show the world how united we are and how much we welcome other people from other cultures into our country (even Russia and China if they qualify*). So, let's get prepared now, right?! 4yrs is over pretty quick if you stay busy.

We need to invest in infrastructure and if you have a brick-and-mortar retail store, restaurant, motel/hotel, beach resort, etc., now it's a perfect time to think about important updates and renovations and save up for them.

We can refresh our knowledge of other cultures and their languages.

We can already buy American flags in order to display them later on. Make sure they are made in America too.

The coaches and players can already prepare too (as they should).

I hope whoever is in charge of the designs of the uniforms is a patriot and comes up with a great design. I've made a handful and, in my opinion, looks better than a lot of our previous ones... so let's take advantage of this opportunity.

Again, it's early, but I'll keep posting about it because it's a huge opportunity for us as a country as well as individually. We all can make a difference! Imagine the people we'll attract.

While all first responders will probably have sleepless nights, the American People can show the world what it means to be American and how we really treat other people, even the Russians and Chinese. Why? Because we are not a racist country! We have racist individuals that live here, yes, but so do other countries.

* I specifically mentioned Russia and China, because I firmly believe that 99% of the people there are good people. It's a different culture and people do different things, but in the end, they all want to be left alone and enjoy their lives. It's the damn governments that ruin it for everyone and I'm sure not everyone in those countries agrees with their government all the time, if ever.

In 2026 we can welcome all People from all over the world who want to enjoy the soccer world cup with us. We are Americans and united we stand.

If people come here to hurt us, well, they'll learn pretty quick that we don't play around with stuff like that!

Let's get it done and build a venture (together with Canada and Mexico) that the world won't forget!

2026, here we come! Are you in?

P.S. Please keep the threat clean of (too much) politics and other social issues since I plan on feeding it until-, or resurrecting it in 2026 :D:D:D

When we hosted in 86 I really tried hard to get to a game. It was nearly impossible without buying a 6 pack of tickets and or a corporate sponsorship. To be guaranteed watching a team I wanted to see was really long odds. It would be nice if that has changed.

You've been in Mexico at that time? I can imagine how hard it is to get in, especially since everyone plays down there.

The locations are on Wikipedia.
