That's really nice.

The best I can do is provide the information from the SCSW (Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson).
1911-1941 160000-536584
1923 numbers reach 384xxx area

I would interpret your revolver is likely about 1920 - 1922 but that's just a guess.

I would guess a little later but still in the 1920 decade, as the stocks (if original) do not have medallions but the logo is on the left frame, which would put it after 1923. Someone here may have a close number with a factory letter or keep their own database, and can let you know for sure. Hope this is helpful.

thanks very much
its a little worn but shoots vey nice

Daniel - Welcome to the Forum. You have a .22/32 HE (Heavy Frame Target), Bekeart Style revolver. These revolvers were made on the I frame that normally shoots a 32 Long cartridge. The gun looks correct and if all numbers are matching, it should be a great shooter. Another revolver 364,4XX shipped in February, 1922.

Daniel welcome to the forum. I would agree with the others that place this gun in early 1922 around March, April or May. The engineering change to place "Made in U.S.A." was issued in May of 1922. The only question is that the order to switch from the Paine front sight to the Patridge front sight did not occur until 8/29/1923 and your gun has a Patridge front sight. Is there a star in front of the serial number indicating that it went back to the factory for a modification, I don't see one in the photos?

I own one that is in the 384,000 serial range that has recessed chambers but that modification was not available until around serial number 525,600 so my gun does have the star.
