My wife got a lead on some Maxxtech .22 ammo (Comes from Bosnia) I know nothing about it, but on the pictured box you can read the manufactures instruction to clean gun well. Being the suspicious old timer that I'm, that says to me warning ammo is very dirty.

Your thoughts please.

Never shot their .22 but a buddy had 2 boxes of their brass 9mm at the range a few weekends ago. It was noticeably dirtier than the 100 Federal AE I put through my Glock 45. A couple really light rounds failed to cycle the slide on his Glock 17.

I'm sure it'll fire but be ready for a good cleaning after.

I think I have a couple of boxes of their 38 Special.
Haven't shot any.
I reserve the better Ammo for Self Defense usage, the import Mystery Brands make holes in targets.
Recently I opened a can of Tula 9mm and shot some in my new Glock 43x and a Kahr.
It functioned reliably and didn't leave the guns as dirty as I have read.

I don,t like European .22 auto. you can fine good ammo here !

Sometimes yes and sometimes no . Lately its more no than yes She shoots a lot (bullseye.)

Were retired and hit a lot of LGS and she has a Victory that is very ammo sensitive. She tries out new ammo when she can find it.

Not going to try out that Maxx.

Thanks for all that answered!

Federal seems to be cranking out their Auto Match ammo at a pretty good rate, and it's starting to show up again, at least in small quantities. I've standardized on this kind since almost all of my guns, S&W as well as others seem to function reliably with it and give at least acceptable accuracy. I started buying it up before the last shortage hit, I had accumulated a pile of it before this one started, so that's pretty much all I'm shooting now. I wish it would function my M261 conversion on my AR, but I have to try to find Mini Mags for it. :(

Go to CCI's website for Mini Mags. They run $11.99 100 and you can only buy 10 boxes. but that gives you free shipping.
