Since announcing this Manson reamer and tap handle loaner program on April 20, 2025 we have been able to help some 20 Members successfully ream their S&W 22's and literally ALL Members have reported that new ammo and fired casings "fall in and fall out" without any undue force on the ejector rod. That is great and I'm more than happy that the program took off like it did. Most reported doing several guns and I check the reamers each time and they are both showing no evidence of any wear whatsoever. Thanks to all for returning the reamers via USPS AND thank you for sending postage money too. It is a win-win for all of us.

Harv 24 posted in the original thread yesterday wanting to have an update where the reamers are. As of this morning, 1 is in Kentucky, 1 is on its way back to me and I expect to send it back out next week to next on the list which is Cptbwst in Ohio. The remaining two (2) Members who signed up are Harv 24 in Wisconsin, and 71 Vette in Indiana. It has been averaging 4 days out, 3 days with Member, 4 days back so hopefully I'll have everyone who asked taken care of by mid-September at the latest.

By the way I have been TEXTING or CALLING the next recipient when I actually have one packaged and ready to go to simply ask them if they still can use it then please text me back with a YES. The reason I do this is because a couple times during the early summer I had a reamer ready to go but when I called the person was out of town, or on vacation and so i just skipped down to the next one and caught the other one up when they were back. This has kept the program moving along with the reamers not sitting idle somewhere AND not choking up the Forum with needless Direct Messages, Alerts or posts.

Remember even though the "list" may be taken care of in a few short weeks, I'm always willing to add anyone needing to ream their 22's to the list, so if you see posts that indicate someone is having trouble ejecting empties then you can always reply and tell them to DM "cmansguns" with their name and e-mail and I'll contact them for more detailed personal information.

Thanks much for the update! My two 34's, 18, and 17 are patiently waiting their turn. I'll get some tap fluid on order.

I'm glad the program is working out so well. Barring any reamer damage, it will take hundreds of chambers to dull one of these guys. They should be good to go for a long time.

This is a very generous act! I have a K22 Masterpiece that definitely needs the cylinder honed. I'll be in touch.
