The weather up here in Norse country is still quite seasonable so I called a buddy for a .22 fun day. Here is my setup. Browning Buckmark, SW 617, and Ruger 10/22 all "dressed up" . All with Burris Fast Fire red dots for my old eyes.
Should be a fun day.
It's tough to beat the .22 ....rifle or handgun when it comes to having a great time shooting .
They're quiet , pretty inexpensive for ammo and no recoil .
I always finish up the range session with a box or two of .22 rimfire. Especially if I have been shooting the big bores. I am convinced just concentrating on grip and sight picture and trigger prevents a flinch from taking hold now that I am older/more recoil sensitive than when I was younger.
