.22 Outdoorsman question

In an article in the May of 1944 American Rifleman by Walter Roper titled "The old and the new" he describes shooting a round butt .22 exactly like the K-22 but in 1910 -12. Supposedly sat for years in the factory after shooting poorly, due to a to slow twist rate of 1 in 10 inches. Anyone ever see this gun or maybe even own it. I see no mention of it in Supica & Nahas 3rd edition.

I did a search on this forum a few months ago for info on that gun and found an extensive post from one of the established veterans regarding it but didn't save it. I would expect Bruce Green would have knowledge of it if anyone does.

JayCee,I guess if I would have used the search I might have found that myself. It's the same article, it sounded like a rare gun and I thought maybe someone here might have info on it or maybe even own it. Thanks

Has anybody checked the inventory of the 1500 guns at the CVHM from the former factory museum collection? It could well be in that group.
