Try 23.2 grains of AA2015 in WW cases with a 60 grain Sierra Varminter bullet, not the fastest but one of the most accurate in my 1/9 rifles. David

26.0 Winchester 748...seems no matter what bullet I put over that charge it is a .5 MOA or less group.

I use Federal brass and CCI Benchrest primers...

For 60 grain, V-max bullets, I use 26 grains of Varget, or,24.6 grais of TAC.

I use H335 and have had no trouble with either 9-inch twist ARs or my CZ bolt gun, which I believe is a 12-inch twist. I just happened to chronograph my 60-gr load (using Hornady bullets) in the CZ last weekend, and was pleased with the results - right at 3000 FPS and a decent extreme spread over five rounds. Unfortunately I don't have the data handy. I gather there are more modern powders (like Varget) but have always had good results with H335.

haw do thay run threw the powder mesurei was using 4198 and it was a pain to use

Varget is all the rage in the Highpower Competion circuit, its accurate and meters well, not to mention its pretty consistant at various temperatures.

If you think Varget meters well, you haven't tried many powders.

223 & 748

I'm with Superman on this....26 grains of Winchester 748. I use it in my bolt gun as well as my AR (1 in 9 twist)

I put 23.2 grains of H322 under a 60 grain Sierra bullet and have very good results out of a savage 1 in 9 twist bolt gun. I like H322, meters well and is economical b/c it's a faster powder.
