.223 Ammo heads up

I don't have a .223 but for those of you that do I just looked at the Big 5 ad in my Sunday paper and they had PMC .223 ammo for 7.99 a box.

You can get it cheaper at other places. In fact, I just noticed yesterday that .223 prices seem to be falling all over the place. Sportsman's Warehouse had that same ammo for $6.99, and a lot of the on-line ammo outfits have a variety of .223/5.56 ammo for up to 30% less than what it was selling for a few months ago. Hope it's a trend

Gun show .223

Sunday I bought 400 rounds of loose brass case .223 for .33 cents a round. Don't know if that's good or not but I needed some. The make is BVAC. How did I do?

Yes it is coming down Cabela's has PMC for $6.49 a box, it shoots pretty clean.

good to hear that others are finding even better prices, don't have a Cabelas near by but if you have a Big 5 near by you don't have to pay for shipping.

I've now paid $5.98 per 20 for xm193 on sale locally. Less than .30 a round. Pre Obama I remeber finding some xm193
for 34 cents a round and thought i was doing good.
