I know that the 22a-1 has a Weaver style scope rail, but is it compatiable with the Picatinny style mounts? I'm thinking about buying a Burris Fastfire II but the mount they have says it's for Picatinny. There is also a separate Burris mount 410335 that you can get and this one says Picatinny / Weaver. Thanks in advance.

mounted a laser on wifes 22a that said it fits picatinny rail and it fit fine.
she has had zero problems

good luck

A Burris seems like overkill (price-wise) for a 22A. I have a Bushnell TRS-25 that makes the 22A with a 4" barrel shoot like a rifle. It also looks very sexy on the 22A.

Sorry, don't know whether the fastfire pic mount will work on the 22A weaver rail unmodified. The paint on the rail is is about a foot thick, so you should try before you buy, unless you're ready to start filing.

Nikon Red dot on mine..

I own a Burris fastfire with the Piccatiny mount, and it won't fit on the rail on my 22s. Purchase a weaver specific mount for that bad boy and enjoy.

Any red dot will make it more enjoyable to shoot. I am in agreement with the POKUTE about the fastfire being a little too much for the 22a, but if you got it, use it.
