22LR at Midway 8c/round

Midway just emailed me that they have Aguila Super Extra High Velocity Ammunition 22 Long Rifle 40 Grain Plated Lead Round Nose Bulk for 8 cents a round. Not the best price I've ever seen but better than most lately.

I checked not even ten minutes later and it was out-of-stock.

I wonder if a lot of people placed orders or if there were "bots" programmed to scarf up this type ammo when it became available.

Still more than I'd be willing to pay.

Some Aguila is good ammo; fires all the time and is accurate. However, like most of the cheaper ammos, quality control and consistency is not always the same from lot-to-lot. The chance of getting a lesser ammo is greater until you spend a little more. At .08 per round for Aguila, I'd be willing to wait until things stabilize again and maybe get something a little better or get the Aguia cheaper if that's what you really want.
