Was using Remington Golden Bullet today. Had a FTE. When I pushed out the stuck casing, I found this. All other bullets fired ok. Was a S&W M&P 22 semi.

Stuff do happen. Over the years I have had a few like that..worst one was a Winchester many years ago...in my old Winchester 69

I had a whole cylinder of 6 do that one time.

Then I figured out I had the WMR cylinder in the Single Six. Did you mark the cylinder? Just to measure it?

I've had overworked .357 brass do that before, but not 22LR (in the correct cylinder).

Bought some 10mm before I started reloading.got it from lax ammo, new stuff not remanufactured and had a couple out of the box of 500 split on the first firing. Brass was marked "prograde". Not exactly hot stuff either, 180 grain moving at right around 1000 fps, usually slower.
