Sending my M&P Pro Series CORE back to S&W at their request because I am having issues with the firing pin not striking the primer intermittently. Only had it about a month and only put 225 rounds threw it.

Yah, The CS Rep at S&W was shocked and immediately told me he'd get me a shipping label. He had never heard of the problem being this bad.

Just got off the phone with S&W and the CS rep told me my gun is done and on the way to shipping. She told me they polished the chamber and changed the extractor spring, I am by no means a gunsmith but don't know what that has to do with the striker not hitting the primers. I guess I'll see if the paperwork says anything more and go from there.

what kind of ammo are you firing thru it... I just had a problem firing Winchester win clean JUNK 9 out of 100 failed to fire the but pin did strike the primer everytime... I tried a different type this past weekend American Eagle... 200 rounds NOT 1 single failure...

I was shooting magtech, it was fine in my BHP, and my G19. But 100 rounds of it were random no strikes in the CORE. And it only had 175 rounds total threw it. Only 1 month old when I sent it back.

It doesn't have anything to do with light primer strikes. I hope she was just reading the wrong fix report because, If that's what they did to fix your gun, they didn't even read what the problem was.

S&W used to have marvelous customer service. Lately it's been lacking. Maybe it's because of record sales, I don't know. One thing's for sure, there are a lot more reports of mediocre service.

I hope your gun works when it gets back. This was not an ammo issue.

Yah, I am a bit worried. I am hoping that she left off something and the repair sheet will have something I can relate to my issue. Because I sent a very detailed letter with the gun.
