24 hours of LeMans... am I the only one?

I have spent most of the past 24 hours napping off and on and watching the 24 Hours of Le Mans... cheering on the Ford GT race cars... I can't be the only race crazy Ford fan here... or am I wrong?

still hoping for a historic repeat on the 50th anniversary of the 1-2-3

currently 1-3-4...

Thanks for the heads up! I went to the Fox live stream and rode shotgun with the #63 Corvette. THAT'S the way to watch racing!
 
If not a 1-2-3 finish, I hope Ford beats Ferrari.

Some of the TV camera positions are similar to those in McQueen's "Le Mans". I must've watched the last ten minutes of that move a dozen times.
Bumping the Ferrari a couple of times seemed like an infraction but it worked. Had I been the Ferrari driver, I'd have punched McQueen right in the nose after the race.
 
Ford's 1-3-4-9 finishes were impressive.

Time for another "Le Mans" movie; starring.......let's see....Bradley Cooper?

Tough break for Toyota but a lucky break for Porsche. Spent the last few minute flipping between Le Mans and the start of the Grand Prix.
 
You're not alone, some crazy Ford fans here too!!! There's a group of 3 or 4 that have followed LeMans for the last 18 years for the full 24 hours. They arrive with enough firewood (fire kept going to barbecue meat), meat and drink to sustain them through the full 24 hours. They were anticipating a huge Ford resurgence for the 50th anniversary. Well done Ford!!!
 
I try to watch or listen at least, every year. I pull for Audi, the Corvettes, and this year for Ford too. Very tough day for Toyota, hope they come back next year. And I hope Audi sorts their cars by then. Til next year!!
