Hi All,
I swung by a garage sale today that was really an estate sale. Friend of the one running it passed recently. Anyway they had a LOAD of commercial cast bullets for sale. I made an offer on all, and it was declined so I left my phone number. In the pile was 1k of 250 gr. RNFP bullets sized to .452. I was thinking I could use them in my 45ACP revolver, a model 22. Would those be OK as-is or would I need to run them through a .451 sizing die?
Thanks
John

Don't resize them, 0.452" is the correct minimum lead bullet size & often give better accuracy. I have used them in my M625 but also in 1911s. Loaded to 700fps, really soft shooting.

Thanks. I'll keep my fingers crossed that I hear back from him. I made what I thought was a good offer but he was googling things and asking top dollar.

I cast my own, the Lee 255gr, which actually comes out about 262gr, runs fine in my rev or 1911. Makes an imoressive bowling pin load at a mere 700fps.
