27-2 3.5" late "S" SN with pics

I've been wanting a short barreled N-frame for quite a while now, and this seemed to fit the bill. It is a late "S" SN S311xxx which would have been manufactured in 1968. The grips have matching serial number. It also came with what appears to be the original box, but unfortunately the label is missing. The finish is immaculate and it appears to have been shot very little.

Love it my friend. Gotta love those 27's. I have a 3 1/2" and just acquired a 5 " 27-2 also. Something about a N frame short barrel.

You would have a hard time finding one in that condition, but you did. Beautiful 27 and in my favorite barrel length. Makes .38's feel like .22's.

Very nice gun. Mine like you're 27 are both S ser numbered and the grips are too late to be diamond. Nice catch, Larry
