Agreed, it's a reblued gun. The roll stamp on the barrel is less sharp than it should be. The rear sight is also not the original, the sight tang should be smooth with no grooves, just like the barrel rib and top strap. Stocks aren't original, magnas came on M28's (unless ordered with Targets). Still a nice looking revolver, and none of these things affect how it will shoot.

Yes. Nothing original about this one. It's a 28 wanting to be a 27.
Reading the comments. I have a couple of other 28's with the "Matt" finish.
If this one was blued, wouldn't it have needed to be polished to get the sheen it has? Not real high high polish but certainly more than an original 28 finish.
What was done to make it shine like this?
