It was a great day for a 2A rally, although, an anti-gun group was having a rally just over a block away from the Tippecanoe County Courthouse, (Lafayette, Indiana) where this rally took place. The conflicting viewpoints of the two groups in the area drew some media attention (Article 1, Article 2). Thank you to everyone who helped organize (Indiana Moms Against Gun Control) the rally and everyone who took the time to attend. Your efforts help preserve our second amendment rights.

Law enforcement was present during the rally. This Sheriff’s deputy was very kind and respectful to all of us.

Coincidently, this bride and groom got married on the same day of the rally. They opted to have their picture taken with us. This was the safest part of their wedding day. ;-)

After the rally I went with 3 other rally attendees to South Street Smoke House (3305 South St, Lafayette, IN 47904).

It symbolizes a commitment to the freedoms and values upon which the country was founded.

I went to a rally pretty recently in CT, but I didn't manage to get any photos. It was freezing, too! Looks like you guys had great weather, though. Hopefully there will be more local opportunities like this.

The only annoying part is that these rallies always come on the heels of gun control and unfavorable legislation. Otherwise, it would be a totally lighthearted pro-gun party.
