2nd Generation S&W question.

Here is a tough one that I can't figure out.I was looking to see if I could find a 2nd Generation S&W single stack 9mm to go with my 1st generation S&W 39-2. Did S&W make any 2nd Generation single stacked 9mm semi auto's ? I know there are some 3erd generation 9mm single stacks but I was looking for a 2nd generation.So who can help me out with an answer?Thanks in advance

I think I must of just had a brain fart.Are the 439, 539, 639 S&W 2nd Generation single stacked 9mm's?

Yes first digit of model number = frame material
4xx aluminum alloy
5xx carbon steel
6xx stainless steel
Second and third digit = capacity & frame size
x59 9mm hi cap double stack
x39 9mm standard capacity single stack
x69 9mm compact hi cap double stack
