There is a very strong need for what most revolver folks consider the best all around carry revolver, a 3 inch K frame.

If only Smith would produce a version with an enclosed ejector rod, front and rear sights as found on the 640 PC,and with out an IL, I think they would have a number one seller.

I agree. A new new 3" 64 with better sights (and no IL) would be awesome.

I just ordered (pre-ordered actually) the new Model 66 Combat Magnum 2.75 inch. I figure I'll be dead before we get what I really want is a reissued Model 65 with a 3 inch barrel.
