3" and a Model 12

Looks like several have already wished for the best of the K-frame defensive guns...the 3" heavy barrel! Be it a 10 or a 13, a 65 or a 64, there is just something about the 3" K-frame that is "just right!"

And on a personal note, bring back the Model 12. Full K-frame size with all the advantages of the K-frame action, but with the lightweight frame and the light skinny barrel. At 4" it was the perfect full-size carry gun for self defense.

Try this: a RB 3" M12 with a really visible front sight (XS?) and a big rear sight trough or a sight like the ones on the nightguards (with a big U notch) has real appeal. Best of all worlds. Load it with standard velocity WC and SCW and it would be a heck of a good carry revolver.
