Here are my 4 - 3" K Frames with round butt target grips. This is probably my favorite S&W Revolver configuration. It's amazing how each of these grips are so different. Model 64-3, 65-5, 13-2, 10-8. The 10-8 grips were factory installed the other 3 grips I added.

Nic looking collection. Would not mind adding one to my small collection as well.

I just got my first set of round butt target grips on a 66-3 I acquired on the Forum a few weeks ago. I shot it last week and enjoy the feel. They aren't original to the gun as they are stamped inside 6/1982. The gun shipped in 1989. I'm debating putting them on a nickel 13-3 that shipped in 1982. "It's nice to have options." Quoting my friend kansasgunner. Enjoy.

I have a set of smooth RB targets I put on a 3" Model 547. They feel great but I'd prefer a set of checkered targets since the smooth move in the hand a little bit with recoil.

Very nice!

When you say the grips are "different", do you mean color/quality of wood, shape, checkering, or ?

Back in the day; 'the 1980s"...... before Spegel Boot Grips ..... I cut down a set to just cover the bottom of the grip frame for my EDC revolver a 3" 65....... my first set of "Boot Grips".

Loved the grip..... got a few sets in my "Big Box-O-Grips"

We all have a "Box-o-grips"
But i have never seen a BIG box-grips. Must be a huge grip graveyard you got in the garage. :p

Actually my BIG box is actually two one for S&W revolvers and another for autos.
Plus a third for Beretta. And small ones for Colts,Sig,Walther and CZ. These all are the result of a 44 year's on the Quest for the Holly Grail of grips!!

Round Butt Target Stocks are not easy to find these days. Most of the checkered I've seen and owned didn't have the nice wood grain that most of the smooth version have.
Pictured are a few I've owned that have gone to new caretakers.
