The Expo show was interesting, as usual, as the largest show in Georgia. This beautiful example from ~1984-85 was too much to resist. Folks also brought a
2" 38 M&P from ~1948 and a cute little 2" 32-1 (38 S&W) to my tables, but those are for different sections.

Pardon the reflections on this high polish nickel gun. I guess now I need a 3" blue FBI gun like Jodie Foster carried in Silence of the Lambs. I do like all of S&W's fixed sight magnums.

That would have went home with me!

Congrats!

I've got a few 3" 65s and a couple 3" blued, but no nickel. :(

3" 13

Beautiful 13. On Jodie`s revolver, I believe it was a 66...a 21/2" 66. It struck me as such anyway. Might be wrong, just saying.

Don't believe I have ever seen a 3" nickle Model 13. Beautiful gun. Hold onto that one!!

It belonged to a friend who also works the shows around here. A while ago he asked me what is was worth. I told him it could go for $1500 at auction. I was able to get it for substantially less.:D:cool:

Great score, Sir. It really looks terrific! I am happy to hear there is still some good gun shows around the country. The two states that I live in are legislating them out of business. I bought this one about 10 years ago. Also, at a gun show, but from a fellow that didn't know of the popularity of the 3" K frames. I added the J. Culina stocks.

As some say here in Texas........"day-yum".

Count me as officially jealous. I have half a dozen 3" 65's, but no 13's. That is beautiful.

Nice find, W4. It seems to be the month for the 3" nickel 13-3. I happened into one also. This one's from 1982.

Very nice! I lucked into a nickel 3" M13-3 on GB when I wasn't and apparently no one else was looking a few years ago and got a great deal. They are nice guns!

I picked up this Nickel Model 13 about 3 years ago for $500 AUstralian Dollars (about $345 USD). I would have preferred a blue model however, due to our gun laws, I can't be too fussy about finishes when buying revolvers under barrel lengths of 4". We need a special licence category for snub-nose and compact handguns.

There is a little nick in the plating on the left side. Is there anyway to get this fixed without having to re-nickel the whole gun?
