I admit I'm really impressed with that new Ruger SFAR in .308, but I really can't afford another AR at this time.
Friend asked why don't they just make a .308 upper for a regular AR-15?
Because the magazine well is too small in the lower.
So I thought: What would happen if they necked down a .50 Beowulf to hold a .308 bullet?
I think it would be a lot faster than a .300 Blackout.
...or is there already something similar out there?
