.30 Super Carry?

I wish S&W would make a 30SC I or J-frame (moonclips for quick reloads), but I agree that it's unlikely to replace .32/.380/9mm in the little-gun market. Just because something might be better, doesn't mean it's going to replace the incumbents.

Interesting... What's old is new again.
30 Peterson - 7.65 French Longe - 30 Super Carry. All similar but different power.

Maybe I will be able to adapt the brass for my SACM M1935A. (SIG 210's Grand Daddy)

Hmmm
I just received a TK Custom catalog with an order I placed with them. As I was thumbing through the cool gunsmithing work offered, the rechambering revolver cylinders for auto cartridges got me thinking: Can they convert my 30-1 to 30 Super Carry while still being able to use 32 S&W and 32 H&R mag; unfortunately, I don't think the 30-1 can handle 45,000 psi.

Hornaday stopped making Ruger 480 brass this year, 356 and 307 Winchester are tough to find brass or ammo, see above re the short magnums, Ruger 375 and 416 magnums and many others. Are you a reloader and prepared to invest in 700-100 cases? Go for it. Are you worried about resale in 5 years? It is marketed as a self defense weapon. What does it do from 15 feet that nothing else on the market does? If you think there is something unique about it go for it.
