Took my MP15-22 up to the range today and fired it for the first time ever. 300 rounds of CCI Mini Mag. Pretty flawless and a really fun little rifle to shoot.
Used the pop up sights as the range is of the indoor variety and only 20 yards. What a blast I had. I found the stock trigger to be quite comfortable.
The only issue on mine is a loose stock. I'm going to use the duck tape trick I saw on Youtube to take care of the wobble on that part.
In being proactive, after reading many thread here, I order the extractor from Volquartsen. I can tell already, this rifle is going to be a fun one to shoot. Taking the precaution, just in case.
I can't wait to get out to the outdoor range and try it out at 50 yards with a TRS25, and maybe even a 3X magnifier for my old eyes.
This was my first time firing 22LR. I had no idea how dirty these little cartridges were.
Cleaned my rifle real nice after, and am ready to go again.
I also shot 100 rounds of 45ACP, 50 before and 50 after firing the MP15-22. What a contrast.
