.32 short, long, magnum or ACP?

Midwayusa.com should have some .32 Long in stock. I have found magtech, remington & fiocchi brands in stock when I need it.

Check out Georgia Arms, Inc. at georgia arms.com.. I just bought some 32 h&r mag ammo at a decent price.

I will second the ammo quality from Georgia Arms. I have used their 32 H&R magnum ammo myself.

Georgia ammo is out of stock

I was looking for some last night. Georgia arms is out of stock on 32 h&r mag ammo due to lack of component pieces.

Anyone else know of any cheap sources for plinking 32 mag ammo? Palmetto State Armory has 32 S&W long for $14 per box of 50, which is pretty cheap.

Let me know if yall see any 32 Mag ammo pop up

Hey, If any of you see a good source for 32 Mag ammo, please shoot me an email/pm. Georgia Arms is out. I've shot the Priv Partizan S&W Long ammo that's $14 for a box of 50, but it's just not the same as the 32 Mag ammo and it's dirty as can be. It also leaves one heck of a buildup line in the cylinders. I've got one box of Black Hills Red Box 32 Mag ammo from Midway, but it's $.75 a round, which takes the fun out of plinking if you ask me. Anyone know someone who reloads this caliber that has a good enough reputation to trust my 4" 631 with?

I was looking for some..and had no luck..but one of my favorite gunstores had a pile of Federal 85gr and some Longs too. I stocked up.

Because of how few 32 H&R loads there are, they have all been extensively discussed and chronographed in various threads around the internet. A Google search will provide you with lots of info about the ammo you have ordered and the other options available. Should make for some interesting reading while you await your shipment.

I'm looking for plinking prices :)

Yea, federal at $30 for 40 rounds is too much. I'm looking for budget/plinking ammo if there is such a thing. Ammunition To Go's prices are better than midway on the Red Box Black Hills. I've got a question. I always see Cowboy Loads. What exactly does that mean? How does it differ from a regular load? If I'm just wanting something cheap to shoot at a steel plate or punch holes in paper, does a cowboy load serve the same purpose? Also, is the Black Hills Cowboy load made by the same Black Hills as the Red Box? I've never known them to make anything that wasn't top notch. Thanks for any advise you can offer.

I tried the longs

I've tried the longs and the 32 WadCutters. The Private Partizan (PPU) S&W longs were extremely dirty. I don't really even care, but they had soot all over my hands and all over the pistol. I just liked the slight thump of the 32 Magnum load over the 32 Longs.

So, what's the difference between the Black Hills COWBOY loads and the Black Hills in the red box (besides the projectile)? What exactly does a Cowboy load mean?

Stupid Question

I'm assuming you mean a light load regarding to felt recoil, and not the weight of the projectile? That sort of defeats the purpose for me. I guess for $4 a box more ($.08 per round), I'll just buy the overpriced Black Hills red box. Hell, I'm sure this will be what finally forces me to get into reloading.

Yes. Low velocity cast bullet. Cowboy action shooters want speed, not recoil. I personally don't like factory Cowboy loads from any manufacturer, generally they are dirty and just kind of...unsatisfying. If I want super light loads, I handload my own.

I know. They have been out for a while. Anyone talked to them, to see when they may get more back in?-sam

I want to find one person with 32 mag and 44 spec in stock and just order them both at once.

Double Tap sells 32 H&R ammo.

Their new TAC-XP load looks to be the Zenith in 32 caliber protection, but I don't own a .32 H&R.

Would be ideal for the elderly or a small statured person who couldn't
handle much recoil, or a SASS shooter who loves 32 H&R guns.
