After Tulsa SWCA symposium I travelled to Iowa. I stopped at Brownells and bought 2 boxes and stopped at a shop and found 6 more boxes.

The PPU ammo has always worked well for me. Accurate and reliable in my guns and good quality boxer primed bras that I can reload too. Aquila has also been decent though sometimes a little dirtier. Not enough to be an issue. Hope the rices weren't too horrible!

The 2 boxes at Brownells were $35, they had plenty but I thought price was high.
The PPU was $22.00 and I bought all the shop had.

Not too long pre-COVID, Academy had Remington .38 S&W (not Long) on sale at $10/box, but they had only four boxes on the shelf. I bought them all. At that time, it wasn't unusual for Academy to have some pretty good ammo mark-downs.

I have an almost endless supply, and they only cost a few cents per round. I cast my own bullets and reload my cases.

^^^This^^^ For most of my handguns, factory ammo is purchased just to be shot and the brass saved. I did shoot up a few hundred rounds of 9MM about 6 months or so ago, but that was because.... I didn't have any brass to reload. Now I'm shooting reloads. I've got several factory boxes of 32 S&W L ammo, but I'm saving it for times I don't have time to do any reloading.
