Hello I'm contemplating a new hand gun and I've owned just about everything except a .357 sig but shot it in glock pistols. I own a glock and honestly they don't have a soul does that make sense or is it just me? So that's my problem I don't want a glock I'm trying to stay American so that leaves me with 2 choices I think Smith and Wesson or Springfield and it looks like Smith is no longer offering. 357 sig any advice or help guys will be greatly appreciated.

You can still get barrels for the M&P aftermarket.
Also the XDM.
You use 40 S&W mags also

There are LOTS of non-Glock choices for 357SIG especially if you are willing to purchase used. The following is just a small sampling of what is out there. Something to wet the appetite.

Obviously the M&Ps are currently manufactured, just hard to find. Since these have been in production sine 2007 or 2008, trade ins are starting to hit the market at very good prices.

There is the 357SIGMA, but those are pretty rare

Of course there is the SIG P229 that the cartridge was developed for. The originals were in alloy frame

There were many stainless framed variations of the P229 as well

Among the steel frames P229s are the Sport and Sport Stock models from the Master Shop. These are absolutly tack driving target pistols. Pick one up and you will wonder how you became such a good shot so fast.

If you prefer full size pistols there are the P226 based 357SIGs line this SCT

In the X-family of target pistols there are more to be found like this X5 Allround

Going the other direction in size there is the compact P239 family

Or the tiny double stach P224 that will still accept the full size magazines

While I can not find the pictures at the moment, HK has the USPc and the little P2000SK. The P2000SK is way more accurate than a palm sized auto loader deserve to be.

Then there is the wild side.
I know that you asked for SOUL, but would you take a little Rock and Roll in it's place?
30 rounds of 357SIG ammunition on target in under 2 seconds. The HK MP5
