Did S&W make any 3.5" barrel 38/44 revolvers with or without the humpback hammers? I have on that was re-nickled by Fords that It would love to have cut down and the hammer replaced, if I could find one!

but I believe there were a few made with 3.5" barrels. I rolled my own in this case, but it would look something like this

Agreed, I've never heard of such a gun because I am pretty sure Bill would have one already in his collection or have one referenced on his website.

except for that one that's in a cigar box, up in an attic, in an old boarding house in Cleveland or Phoenix...There were no 3.5 inch HDs made.
