Some hard to find items that will enable a shooter to utilize their classic .38 AMU pistol again.

Also, separately, 2k once-fired .38 Spl brass and once-fired .357 Magnum brass.

Lot #1:Up for sale AS A TOTAL PACKAGE is the following:

4 boxes of 50 (200 total rounds) of Remington .38 AMU wadcutter ammo. Two of the boxes are wrapped, as if for ammo collectors, and I have not broken that seal; the other two contain 50 rounds each of nickel cased 38 AMU cases, head-stamped REM-UMC 38AMU. Going on weight, the sealed boxes contain the same (full), but I cannot advise brass or nickel case, or view condition. The other boxes appear in perfect shooting condition, with just a hint of darkening of the exposed lead.

10 Full boxes of 50 and 1 partial box of 44 of Western .38 SR (their designation for .38 AMU). None of these boxes is pristine, as most have .38 AMU written on the end flap, and the others have end flap damaged/missing, and one has a dented corner. One of the boxes of 50 with endflap damage/missing has 10 rounds immediately adjacent to the damaged flap that show signs of some moderate corrosion on the case head, but I believe all of the are shootable, and can be cleaned up. The box with a dented corner which has round from the affected area showing a very small dent on the case mouth, but will chamber without issue. All of the Western cases in these boxes are brass, and show a little tarnish (not corrosion) in some cases, commensurate with their age.

1 box of 2000 fired .38 AMU cases of mixed manufacture, including REM-UMC, Western, and Federal. All these cases are brass (not nickeled), and since they were not fired by me, I cannot advise the number of times they have been used. I did not observe any split cases, but there were just a couple with oval case-mouths, but seemed reusable without issue.

I accumulated all of these over the years with the intent of building/having built a .38AMU gun, but that is not going to happen any longer - perhaps there is someone out there to soldier on with this idea.

The entire lot, loaded ammo and brass will be $1275, shipped UPS due to the loaded rounds. Payment by USPS Money order will ship upon receipt; any payment by check will be held 10 days until it clears.

Lot#2: For sale separately is 2000 Once-fired Precision .38 Spl Brass, from Precision Delta new manufacture ammunition. I believe it is all from wadcutter rounds, but there is a chance that some might be from 158 SWC rounds; regardless, all once-fired, and it was tumbled in corn cob media before being placed in storage.

$100 shipped USPS Priority Mail

Lot #3 (500 sold - 600 remaining) Once fired R-P nickel .357 magnum brass, tumble-cleaned before being stored. Have 1 bag of 500 cases for $75 ; also have separate bag of 100 cases for $15. Prices do not include postage - the bag of 500 can ship in a Medium Flat Rate box for $17; the bag of 100 would ship in a Small Flat rate box for $10.20. If a purchaser wanted all 600 cases, they would fit in one Medium Flat Rate box for $17.10.

Must post "I'll take it", identifying which items they want.
