I bought a brand new 38 bodyguard revolver (the one with ambidextrous release/no external hammer) I dry fired it (nice smooth pull for the price!) and with the trigger held back...I looked for the fire pin to estimate if I would be plagued with lite hits/unreliable ignitions. I saw no firing pin, just the hole it would protrude from! Does anyone know if the firing pin on this model retracts after firing even when the trigger is held back (I am guessing this is what is happening, as a Korth moongoose does) ? I dont want to take a day off and go to the range to determine this (waste of time)
